Tryouts Information

“Due to the current pandemic, there are several regulations that are in place at the aquatic centers across the state that strictly limit the number of spectators as well as athletes that can be on deck. Currently Cobb Aquatic Center is only allowing five swimmers per lane during practice times. In order to ensure that all athletes have adequate practice time, there are several things that will be different this year. While we have already had to cancel the middle school season this year to have more lane space for high school athletes, we will also have to make cuts in order to reduce the number of swimmers on the team. While this is not something that we ever want to do, there is really no other solution at the given moment. We will do our best during tryouts to be as clear as possible about the expectations and the number of female and male athletes that will make the roster. It is our hope that in the future we will be able to go back to having one of the largest swim and dive programs in the state.”
